- As a Senior Administrator and Technical Application Management, your job responsibilities would typically include:
- Providing expert leadership and guidance to junior administrators and technical teams in managing systems and applications effectively.
- Overseeing the setup, configuration, and maintenance of various systems, servers, and infrastructure components to ensure their optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Managing the life-cycle of applications, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, patching, and upgrades to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value.
- Monitoring system and application performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Investigating and resolving complex technical issues related to systems, applications, and infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams as necessary.
- Implementing and enforcing security best practices, ensuring systems and applications are in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Developing and implementing automation solutions to streamline repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
- Designing and implementing strategies to ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and effective.
- Collaborating with development teams, stakeholders, and other IT professionals to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
- Staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions that enhance system performance and reliability.
- Mentoring junior staff, conducting knowledge sharing sessions, and providing training to improve the overall skill set of the team.
- Managing relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure effective support and resource allocation.
- Participating in incident response activities, including identifying, containing, and mitigating security breaches or technical incidents.

- Experience with Linux and OpenSource.
- Experience with Networking/DNS/Firewalls.
- Experience with Monitoring Tools.
- Experience with Scheduling & Automation Tools.
