As System Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Releasing system level applications suited for customer acceptance
  • Defining explicit test cases aimed to fully cover all system level requirements
  • Developing and optimizing efficient automated validation lab environments
  • Executing and reporting validation runs on timely manner within development projects

Further more you will:

  • Participate in system validation team as technical validation representative. Reporting on key validation progress and issues.
  • Define and document the system validation use cases and accurately log in project documentation and tooling (eg. DOORS).
  • Translating lengthy manual lab tests into repeatable, reliable and highly efficient automated validation environments completely linked to test cases and requirements. (eg. LabView, C, C#, JAVA, TestStand, etc.).
  • Developing Labview code, debugging microcontroller code
  • Managing a continuous integration chain to release and share software and generating reports and documentation

Functie-eisen

• MSc (or similar) in Industrial Automation Engineering/ Electronics & Communications.
  • 5-10 years of experience in test development within automotive industry.
  • Fluent with Teststand, Labview, C and C#.
  • Experience in mmWave testing.
  • Experience with automotive functional safety testing.
  • Working knowledge of FMCW radar front-end and basic signal processing.
  • Familiarity with DOORS.
  • Familiarity with Matlab/Python is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FPGA programming is a plus.
  • Experience in test specification documentation and implementation.
  • Comfortable working with remote teams.
  • Excellent skills for managing multiple projects and support activities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
