In this role you will be the contact person for customers during the complete execution of the order and responsible for the overall management of the project. You will manage the projects directly with the end customer. Your customers are global, which means you will travel abroad for approx. 20-30% of the job.
- Manage the project team (direct, coordinate, motivate and assess) for overall project execution;
- Serve as the primary contact for both the customer and the clients’ sales lead in the country, once the contract is (close to be) signed;
- Develop project plans to report, track and manage project progress, finances (cost and invoicing), quality issues;
- Order release to involved sites to process and execute the order;
- Generate and manage project issues log, risk log, and order changes;
- Provide contingency planning to eliminate, reduce, and mitigate issues and risks;
- Responsible for project documentation and line Pre Delivery Inspection;
- Work with Logistics, Installation and Commissioning teams to deliver, install and commission equipment;
- Complete official hand-over of the equipment to the customer.

Functie-eisen
- At least BSc. in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics engineering, or similar;
- You have 5-10 years of experience in leading multidisciplinary development projects, mainly for external clients in the high-tech domain;
- You can translate technical questions in line with the customer's business objective;
- You have an excellent understanding of project management, and you are therefore able to set up and monitor projects properly;
- You are cost-conscious and result-oriented;
- You are creative and skilled in coming up with constructive solutions based on multidisciplinary concepts.
- You have experience with (series) production and/or NPI;
- You are a coach, inspirator and organizer for your project team internally and externally;
- You are driven and have good communication and presentation skills.

- Full-time position
- Preferable starting date: beginning of January 2020
- 1 year secondment, then take over
- 24 holiday days, option to purchase 6 or 12 additional days
