Headquartered in Northeast Florida, this company is a leader in the state’s healthcare industry. The company is a not-for-profit, policyholder-owned, tax-paying mutual company. With millions of clients throughout the state, this client required an efficient computer integrated telephony system to accommodate customer calls. Modis delivered project managers and testers as part of an Integration Testing project team. Some responsibilities included are below. Modis continues to enjoy a strong relationship with the client, supporting general staffing needs as well.

• Developing test conditions and testing scenarios and test cases based on functional design deliverables
• Grouping test conditions into test scenarios/cases
• Developing test data requirements, test scripts and execution of those scripts
• Reviewing test scripts with Case Coordinator and documenting actual results and maintaining test plans based on changes due to design, delivery and/or change control.

Modis keeps health benefits provider’s critical compliance project on schedule.

This Fortune 500 Company provides healthcare and related benefits offered through the workplace. Key product lines include healthcare products and services and group disability, life and accident insurance.

This client needed to allow the registration and pre-registration of their providers using a Single Sign On (SSO) process. This registration must comply with the overall Kaiser/MDL Settlement, which required the client to provide access to their website to obtain eligibility and benefits, claim processing guidelines and other specific information. The registration process must be completed within a reasonable timeframe and be as simple as possible to increase adoption.

The client leveraged its current registration and re-registration process and enhancements were made to create ease for their providers and ultimately reduce the manual and cumbersome processes in place today such as automating PIN or password reset requests. Our consultant coordinated with the business to gather the requirements from each of the areas and was responsible for meeting the deadlines and time estimation of this large-scale project.

Modis boosts pharmaceutical company’s IT department’s staffing, support capabilities.

An industry-leading provider of some of the world’s best-known medical brands, this company develops, manufactures and sells prescription medicines for humans and animals in more than 150 countries. Modis has a long history of serving this pharmaceutical giant for specific, short-term projects, including providing consultants for desktop support, system upgrades and general technical assistance. Examples of two such projects below:

• This client called on Modis to assist with a critical desktop support project with an hard deadline. The company found nearly 130 desktops that required immediate upgrades. Modis delivered a team of engineers and a project manager to perform the upgrades, as well as perform testing to ensure all of the machines were in compliance. The Modis team completed the project ahead of schedule and under budget.
• Modis assisted the client with desktop support and network maintenance for an internal move project. We provided a team of contractors to assist with the moves and were trained on the client’s technical standards. Modis’ assistance with this project allowed the client to accomplish its daily goals and complete the move on time.
