Before that he worked for a bank in Greece where he specialised in IT and telecommunications structure for more than three years. After a Modis Recruiter scouted him for the role of IT buyer at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC), the decision to seize this opportunity was a no-brainer. Because the job has an international focus I am learning a lot about dealing with different cultures. Of course I’m also learning a great deal about my profession. The fact that I'm a member of a team of talented and specialised people means I'm able to function to the best of my abilities. I have set myself the goal of continuing to develop both professionally and as a person. I want to learn new skills and competencies at ESA, but I also want to take projects I'm involved in to the highest level. Everyone here is working to achieve optimal results. I'm convinced that you develop fastest at a multinational such as the ESA and I therefore believe it was well worth the effort to relocate.”
