Technical Business Systems Analyst


Provide support to the business throughout the enterprise by conducting in-depth analysis, summary, and recommendations

Work with business partners and project managers to ensure project deliverables are being met as per the documented business related deliverables

Participate in project, forums, and working groups varying in scope and complexity

Document foundational services such as Identity and Access Management (including role-based access control, single sign-on/federated login, MFA, audit & attestation controls)

Key focus on documenting the authentication & authorization mechanisms to use single sign-on, federated login, multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, etc.

Provide input to work estimates for use in project planning activities

Follow the organization’s project management and SDLC disciplines to ensure structured and effective implementations

Perform Business Analysis, Planning and Support for Development using Agile methodology;

Analyze stakeholders’ needs, scope the problem and develop business case/Epics/Stories to address the problem

Assess current state, analyze stated requirements of stakeholders and accurately define business need within specified scope

Uncovering and capturing requirements as stories into a master story list (Jira/Confluence)

Build narratives and acceptance criteria for the highest priority stories in upcoming iterations/sprints

Validate the acceptance tests

Progressively signoff completed stories with users

Provide continual feedback to the development team

Required Skills

10 years of experience working on large and complex projects with a strong focus on Identity & Access Management as a Technical Business Systems Analyst

The EAC Business Analyst should have a degree in a Computer Science, Business Administration, or Social Science or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ten or more years’ experience in business analysis with a focus on Software Solutions and IT transformation projects

Experience in designing and implementation of complex applications from end-to-end, (specifically using MS Identity Manager & Azure B2C/Cloud Services)

Experience in the following methodologies; iterative, Agile SDLC or SCRUM and Waterfall

Has a thorough understanding of IAM technologies, policies, processes, best practices, and solutions

Has a working knowledge of information security requirements and implementations

Experience integrating IAM with PeopleSoft Finance and HRMS for SSO and provisioning workflows/processes

Familiar with ServiceNow IT Service Management platform and request/approval workflow processes

Familiar with Guidewire Software core products / application platform and configuration

Proven experience with mapping end-to-end business process, business and technical requirements analysis, business planning, modeling, verification and methodology and product development.

Experience working and negotiating with a variety of stakeholders and third party vendors

Work with a sense of urgency and demonstrate leadership skills to achieve high performance and service levels

Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively build relationships and influence decisions

Excellent project management skill, analytical, problem solving and influential skills

Strong attention to detail

Superior writing skills to prepare/edit comprehensive reports, and other documents

Excellent organization skills
