Skype PBX Architect
Seeking a highly motivated individual to become the primary architect for Skype for Business platform.
Responsibilities include: ongoing architectural design, implementation, and Level 3 support for the on premises Skype for Business environment, integration with internal/external business solutions, monitoring, data availability/recovery, and associated peripheral services.
The successful candidate will be expected to serve as a top level technical contributor with advanced knowledge and experience in the area of systems administration, database administration, network administration, and specifically the Microsoft Unified Communications stack.
The Systems Architect is the primary point of contact for business related inquiries, projects and information security initiatives involving Skype for Business.
This individual serves as a technical resource and mentor to Messaging and Collaboration server administration staff and as a Level 3 support resource for the team's Level 2 support staff.
Additional responsibilities include: an in-depth understanding of Messaging environment and close collaboration with the IT Systems Architect responsible for messaging. While messaging may not be the primary responsibility of the architect, projects in that environment may consume more than 50% of the architects time.
- 5+ years' experience (design, architecture, administration, and support) with a large scale Lync 2010/2013 or Skype for Business on-premises environment preferred.
- 5+ years' experience (design, architecture, administration, migration, and support) with a large scale Exchange Server 2010/2013/2016 on-premises environment preferred.
