About the role

The Global Project Manager manages Global Contracts on a day-to-day basis for the Managed Print Services and Solutions department at HP Inc. The role is part of the HPI-Transition Project Management team and is thus sometimes referred to as Global PM or Regional PM. The Managed Print Services & Solutions provides Enterprise and Corporate customers with a combination of HW, Supplies, Financing, and Services. The Managed Print Services Business is expanding and is a strategic growth area for HP.

The Global Project Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of Regional/Global contracts as part of the Transition & Transformation phase of HP MPS contracts. The service is meant to execute contract deliverables as per the master services agreement signed between HP and the end customer including hardware and software installation, process customization, management of change, and solutions deployment. The Global/Regional PM is responsible for executing global governance of program milestones and deliverables as defined in HP MPS contracts not exceeding the predefined program budget. The service is delivered in the English language. Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of the contractual world
  • Responsible for Local contract enablement 
  • Responsible for the deployment of entire Services (hardware and software)
  • Performs the transition of customer-owned devices to HP wherever this is applicable 
  • Manages the services management of change (hardware and software moves and disposals) 
  • Remote management of setting up certain services as per contracts
  • Oversees and manages the Supplies delivery enablement 
  • Process customization (wherever applicable)
  • Gathering & Validation of all documents from Pursuit & participate in handover meetings.
  • Initiating the entire contracts set up related to multiple projects and processes in alignment with the Global Program Set up (if available) e.g. Governance Model and R&R
  • Actively applies Monitoring and Control
  • Manages financials and entire PnLs
  • Create and Discuss the project deployment plan with the customer; Define and agree on key milestones & acceptance criteria
  • HW & Software ordering and installation management when/if needed.
  • Work closely with the Project Management team and PMO Administrators

Required experience:

  • 5+ Years of experience in a Project Management environment
  • 3 + Years of Project Management experience in IT or Transition and Transformation services (Experience in HPI – Transition and Transformation  is considered a strong advantage)
  • Client-facing experience including negotiation and service enablement experience
  • Managed Print Services knowledge and experience are considered a strong advantage

Required education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Certifications related to Project Management
