Working within the contracts division of a major Telecoms provider.

Function information

You will be responsible for the negotiation and set-up of contractual documents (NDA, framework agreement, SLA) under pre-established budgetary and contractual conditions, at minimum risk and for the best price/quality and for the best TCO.

You will manage the following: follow-up and monitoring of performance related to supplier / partner management. Secure the adherence to contractual conditions to ensure continuous delivery or performance on time, in line with terms of contract, at minimum risk and for the best price.

You have a detailed understanding of roll out processes ( within a mobile telecoms context ) , Contract Managementwill take a proactive lead in working with internal and external stakeholders in defining/optimizing roll out processes and communicating them to internal/external partners.


To ensure and manage roll out contract management for all major projects in the Mobile Network Coverage team, in association with the internal customer

- Setting up contract management process: formulating request for information (RFI) and request for quotation (RFQ), according to pre-established evaluation criteria, weight factors, technical and commercial requirements; giving information to suppliers. Reviewing terms and conditions together with Legal.

- Inviting suppliers to a clarification meeting.

- Negotiating contract and concluding framework agreements with suppliers in association with Legal Advisor and internal customer.

- Drafting the contracts to a legal and professional standard paying attention to protection of company’s commercial position and risk management.

To ensure roll out process administration and management/

- Running and controlling meetings with department on (new) projects and roll out processes

- Reviewing roll out processes and procedures

- Documenting roll out process creation/evolution in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Required competencies:

Organisational awareness ( Telecoms environment, market, suppliers & services market trends ); Technical & Professional expertise ( In- depth understanding of process definition / improvement and contract management techniques, procedures related to RFQs, cost price analysis, assessment techniques of bids etc ). Planning and work organisation. Accuracy of work. Analytical thinker and problem solver.

Excellent communication skills, Internal customer focus, builds relationships, strong listening skills, negotiates major contracts. Teamwork and co-operation. Communications skills.

Languages: Dutch, English and French is a plus.
