My client is the leading global player in package shipping solutions. With
600 aircrafts and nearly half a million employees do they offer outstanding logistical
services. They have engaged Badenoch & Clark as exclusive search partner to
staff an IT project management position. We are looking for a cloud / data
center specialist. You can become a real expert within this area at a company
which has 4(!) own data centers and which is investing heavily in these
technologies. The scale of these cloud projects/ programs is unprecedented. The
location is near the airport of Zaventem.
Function information
As project manager do you oversee the end to end implementation project cycle in the data centers or cloud infrastructure. It is a position as technical project manager. There is a strong governance structure and there can be support for the more administrative part. In this job will you become part of the project and program management group. Projects were you will be / can be working on:
· Closure data center and move towards new center in Dublin
· Migration applications to cloud (Azure)
· Prepare expansion Belgian data center
· Program to build cloud native platform (end goal)
· Set up SaaS environment
· Project on google cloud as Azure alternative
Requirements
At
least 2 years of experience in working with cloud technologies is required.
Preferably you have worked on data center migrations, cloud migrations
optimization or consolidations. You should be familiar with IT project management
or have at least the ambition to become a senior PM. It is expected to have good
knowledge of data center architecture and environments, cloud-native
applications or hybrid cloud architecture. It is a must to communicate in fluent
English. Dutch or French is a plus.
